Ballroom dancers compete in the line of dance. I was a competitor at this event. The original painting was exhibited at Art One Gallery in Tribeca in New York City in the group show Outside In.
About Andrea Goldsmith
Andrea Goldsmith is best known for her painterly abstractions of the Italian landscape. Her colorful artwork incorporates imagery of architectural elements such as grids, gates, hearts, and passages that symbolize the passing of time, changes in direction, barriers to communication, and lost love. An avid dancer, she also depicts her experiences as both an observer and participant in the dance world. Goldsmith continues to explore her interest in portraiture through commissions and paintings of family and friends. Goldsmith completed a six-week solo exhibition at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC Futernick Family Gallery in MIami in January 2018, showing over thirty of her abstract paintings.
